You can prevent an unwanted preg/nancy with: EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION must be taken within 72 hours of unprotected se'x in order to
prevent an unplanned preg/nancy. A woman must take 1 Norlevo and a second pill 12 to 24 hours later. Beside Norlevo, most combination (estrogens and progesterone) birth control pills can also be used.

EC can still work if you take it as late as five days (120 hours) after se!x, but it works better the sooner you take it.
EC will not hurt you or affect your ability to get pregnant in the future.
EC will not cause birth defects if you are already preg-nant.
CON'DOMS are usually made from latex rubber and can be used only once. Some have spe/rmicide added to kill sperm. They act as a mechanical barrier, preventing direct vag/nal contact with semen, infectious genital discharges, and genital lesions.
